Ecotherapy

Ecotherapy is an umbrella term for nature-based approaches to counselling. It can also be called nature therapy or green therapy. There are a number of activities which fall under the umbrella, but the main one I work with is walk and talk therapy.

Benefits of ecotherapy include; a connection with nature that you don't get working indoors, can be less intimidating than sitting in front of a therapist in their office, physical and emotional health, reduce stress and anxiety.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and talk therapy does what the name suggests. We go for a 50 minute walk, out in nature, and conduct the therapy session as we walk. I have 3 locations which I use for this on the Powys/ Shropshire border that you can choose from.

I have insurance and risk assessments in place for working in these environments.

We can include forms of meditation in these sessions if you are interested in that. We can also incorporate creative aspects to the sessions. Each session is tailored to you.
