ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

As a qualified psychotherapist, I understand how life can be stressful and sometimes it feels like it all becomes too much to deal with. This can increase anxiety and affect your overall mental health. I am passionate about helping you navigate through life's challenges and creating a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. I am also a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I am a person centred counsellor as my foundation, meaning I believe that you are the expert on your own life and I believe that the professional relationship between us is key. Much like any relationship in life, not everyone will be compatible, and you will get the most from your therapy journey, if you have a good working relationship with your counsellor.

EDUCATION

I have obtained a degree in Psychology from The University of Liverpool. I have a level 4 Diploma in Counselling through the CPCAB. Additionally, I have attended many additional trainings to enhance my ability to address a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to; EMDR, Ecotherapy, Domestic Abuse Awareness, Trauma and PTSD, GSRD, LGBTQIA+, working with eating disorders, and creative therapies.

SPECIALTIES

My therapeutic practice encompasses support for adults over 18. I have specialised training in GSRD, LGBTQIA+, EMDR, Domestic Abuse and Ecotherapy/ Walk and Talk.
